Meet our Design Team!!

Monica Wallace, owner

I am Monica , currently live in Spokane , Washington . My husband Clint and I have been married for 10 years and we have two wonderful children, Caleb (5) and Abby (almost 3). Clint and I love to travel. Our favorite places have been Europe, Mexico and Hawaii . I love scrapbooking and creating transparency products for myself and
for all of you. As much as I love scrapbooking, I think I might be even more addicted to buying paper and embellishments…it makes me happy! Scrapbooking and preserving our memories is a part of my every day life. I take pride in my family, my work, my company and now my wonderful design team.

Q: Favorite place to scrap? We just moved to Spokane and I love my new office/scrapbook room! It's in the basement next to the kids' playroom. This room is jam packed with three 8' tables, computer with desk, 3 printers, store inventory, TTT monthly kits, 5 rolling carts that hold my supplies and more. Needless to say, my husband likes to spend as little time as possible in this room!
Q: Favorite time to scrap? Late at night when my kids are in bed. Most of my transparencies are created between 11p.m.-1a.m. It's hard to keep up with all of the ideas in my head!
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping? 100% Dr. Pepper. I'm hooked!
Q: What music is usually on when you're scrapping? I usually have the radio on while I scrap. I like 80's music and top 40. If I'm scrapping during the day, then I am scrapping with Noggin (tv) in the background or nickjr on the computer.
Q: How would you describe your scrapbooking style? Fun, simple, creative…
Q: When did you start scrapbooking? About 10 years ago. When I first started, all I had was a pack of 12x12 primary colored cardstock, 1 black zig pen, some die cuts and a bunch of shape and alphabet templates!…. Good Times :)

Kimberly Archer, Design Team Coordinator

Hello, I am Kimberly Archer . I am worldly traveled, college educated, ex-career woman, and now a stay at home mother of 5 children. My husband, Brian and I are a blended family with his, hers, and ours. We are a family that enjoys the outdoors in many aspects from gardening on our land and camping in tents.

I began scrapping in January 2005 and now I would put me in the LIFESTYLE SCRAPPER category. It encompasses my daily routine and have a great passion for beautiful papers and getting my hands dirty while playing with them in creating my pages for future generations. While I enjoy scrapping holidays and special events; it is the day to day moments that I treasure the most. It allows the viewer of my pages to have an insight to our family on a day to day basis. I love incorporating many different mediums within my pages and have a great fondness for painting, paper cutting, and doodling. I do enjoy "funky-out of the box" scrapping because that is part of my personality. Playful, humorous, creative, and yes...a little off beat.

I am very proud to be the Design Team Coordinator here at TTT.  I have had the opportunity to design doodles for TTT and it is a great CHARGE to see other scrapbooker's use the product.  I am always inspired and flattered.

Q: Favorite place to scrap?  I simply took over the guest bedroom and my husband made me shelves for all of my goodies.  I truly love my room, however, it can be a tornado alley if I am really on a creative roll.
Q: Favorite time to scrap? Anytime really. However, it has been early mornings and mid-afternoons.
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping? Living in Atlanta ...we are a COKE family and I am addicted to the fizz of Diet Coke!
Q: What music is usually on when you're scrapping? Here lately, I simply "stream" a radio station while I scrap.  Depends on my mood.  I love anything from Blues, Contemporary Christian Music to Rock and Roll.

Q: How would you describe your scrapbooking style? I am so ECLECTIC! I can scrap the clean lines and more advanced techniques but "white space" does not appeal to me most of the time. I enjoy filling my pages with lots of personality!  My style seems to always be changing and/or evolving.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking? January 2005.  I quickly became addicted to scrapbooking by early Spring of the same year.  I find it more than just a hobby-it is a great "ge away" from day to day life and is a great form of "free" expression for me.

Chrystal Riddell, Design Team Member

I am a wife, best friend, only child, and a creative stay-at-home mom of a 3 year old son, Jack , and a 6 year old Golden Retriever, Lucy . I am a Texas-girl, born and bred, and I just moved back "home" to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area where I grew up. In my spare time, I scrapbook, scrapbook, scrapbook! While I used to have quite a few hobbies, with a child comes less free time, so now I'm addicted to nothing but creating things! At 31 years old, I am passionate about creating and more importantly, preserving memories. All of my life I have felt very creative, but not very artistic, until I started scrapbooking. I LOVE the TTT girls and being on this team!!!

Q: Favorite place to scrap? In my scrap room!
Q: Favorite time to scrap?
I'm definitely most creative during the day
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping?
A Diet Coke! Or two. Or three!
Q: What music is usually on when you're scrapping?
The Grey 's Anatomy soundtrack or an iTunes mix
Q: How would you describe your scrapbooking style? I definitely am addicted to patterned paper. Journaling is a must. Lately, I have been using a cleaner design with less cluttered pages. I love to embellish, but these days I am trying to use them more sparingly. I tend to use bright, bold colors the most. And I never forget to include myself!
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
I have been officially scrapbooking for 7 years now, although I have been doing the dreaded “magnetic album” thing since high school. I was browsing a bridal expo after I became engaged and was lured aside by a CM table. It took me a little while to get it all figured out. I bought a magazine or two at Michael 's about scrapbooking (I couldn't believe there actually WAS such a thing!) and went to work. My pocketbook has never looked back!
Jennifer Colosimo, Design Team Member

My name is Jennifer and I live in Pennsylvania with my husband of 10 years.  I have a six year old son and a 2.5 year old daughter.  I am currently a SAHM and have been for almost 3 years.  I miss working but love being home with my children while they are young.  I have a Bachelor's degree in English and journalism.  Scrapbooking is my main hobby and passion.  My other hobbies include reading, Texas Hold Em Poker, collecting crystal figurines, and traveling.  I hate to cook.  I don't like bugs.  I am tall and have long feet.  I am NOT a morning person and as much as I try to change that, it hasn't happened yet.  I talk a lot and am a social person but I also like alone time which I find very hard to come by these days.  I can't garden and kill most any plant I touch.  I am great at putting laundry in the washer and dryer.  I stink at folding it and putting it away.  I prefer dogs over cats any day.  I want to eat more fruits and vegetables but I struggle to really enjoy them.   I am super happy to be a part of such a wonderful team here at Transparent Touches.

Q: Favorite time to scrap?  I like to scrap late at night.  It is hard to find any time to scrap during the day so I usually try to scrap at night after my kids are in bed.
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping?   Ice water works for me.  I prefer not to bring food or other drinks into my work space.  I will have an occasional coffee or diet iced tea.
Q: What music is usually on while you're scrapping?  I love all kinds of music and styles.  I usually tend to play a mix of my favorite tunes while I scrap.  It relaxes me.  I like alternative, hard rock, R&B, pop, and most anything but country music.
Q: How do you describe your scrapbook style?  I never know how to answer this question.  I hope I don't have a certain style.  I like to think I mix it up enough that I don't fit into one category.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?  I made my first scrapbook when I was 13.  It was a book of my trip to Alaska .  I made a few theme books over the years but I wouldn't really call it a hobby back then.  I got really into it after I became a SAHM 3 years ago and haven't looked back since.  It truly is a passion of mine and I love to spend time documenting our memories.

Sue Wojtkowski, Design Team Member

I'm Sue Wojtkowski hailing from East Windsor , NJ .  My High School sweetheart, Stan and I have been married for 18 years.  We have two boys, Brett (age 14)  and Hunter (age 10), who are both home-schooled. In addition to scrapping, I love altered arts of all types and collecting tea pots, but I rarely drink tea!! With two boys, our lives rotate around sports - football (tackle and flag and watching all college and Pro games), baseball, basketball and all things ESPN! We have two dogs, Hoover and Bach, a cat named Chester and a rabbit, Jackiepot. Scrapbooking isn't just what I do, it is who I am.  I love preserving memories and creating the art..focusing on the little moments in life that are all too fleeting.  I am thrilled to be a member of the Transparent Touches Design Team and look forward to sharing my passion with you!

Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
Years ago, but 8 years ago seriously.

Marilyn McKnight, Design Team Member

My name is Marilyn McKnight and I live in Alberta , Canada with my husband of 6 years (Roy) and my two little girls (Kimberly age 5 and Jocelyn age 2).  I have been scrapbooking for probably 10 years now…ever since I was introduced to Creative Memories!  My style has changed since then, but my love of scrapbooking hasn't faded one bit.  If anything, I've become more obsessed with scrapbooking as the years go by with more memories to preserve and more products to buy!  My girls are my inspiration for scrapbooking and the subject of most of my layouts.  When I'm not spending time with my family or scrapbooking, I teach junior high English and Social Studies.  I feel so blessed to have a career that I enjoy, a hobby that I love and of course such a wonderful family!

Q: Favorite place to scrap? After my second daughter was born, my scrap room became the new nursery.  Two months later, we had to move to a bigger house so that I could have a scraproom again J   My husband built custom shelves so I have a great scrapspace!
Q: Favorite time to scrap? Let's just say the ONLY time I get to scrap is after the kids go to bed at 8pm.  I really start going at around 10pm and if I didn't have to get up for work, I'd scrap into the wee hours because I'm a night owl!
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping? A coke slurpee makes me a happy camper!
Q: What music is usually on when you're scrapping? I like 80's,  90's and top 40 music.  I'd be even happier if I had a little TV in the scraproom for noise instead!
Q: How would you describe your scrapbooking style? I always have trouble with this question.  I think I'd say clean lines, photo centric, and journaling-driven
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?  About a decade ago with Creative Memories, but let's say I've thankfully “evolved” as a scrapper since then!  I still have the cringe-worthy layouts from those early years though!

Chrissy Greenman, Design Team Member

My name is Chrissy Greenman and I live in Charleston, South Carolina with my husband, Adam, my beautiful two-year-old daughter, Brooke, my cat, Wilber, and my dog, Bailey. We have lived in South Carolina for 6 years. I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan so I am a northerner at heart! I have been a teacher for 9 years. I currently teach first grade. My husband is a chiropracter and this March will mark his first year in his new practice! My favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and riding horses. I have been riding horses for 27 years and scrapbooking for 9 years. I am so inspired by TTT and its members. My sister, Jenn Hilger, introduced me to TTT in August of 2006 and I have been hooked ever since then. It has truly changed me as a scrapbooker. You have no idea how honored and excited I am to be a part of the TTT design team!

Q: Favorite place to scrap: My dining room just changed scrapbook room. We never use the dining room so I decided I needed my own space. It worked out nicely.
Q: Favorite time to scrap: In the late morning on a breezy, sunny day with the windows open but realistically, when Brooke goes to bed!
Q: What beverage do you prefer while scrapping?: Sweet tea! I am a southern belle now!
Q: What music is usually on when you're scrapping?: I like to listen to country or soft rock.
Q: How would you describe your scrapbooking style?: I love sketches. I draw inspiration from sketches to create my layouts. I prefer clean and simple layouts with lots of pattern paper.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?: When I graduated from college I felt all alone in this big world. I needed something to do with my time so I decided to let my creative side out and started scrapbooking. I have been hooked now for over 9 years!
